Music...What?  Why is there a music page on my travel site? Two reasons: 1) If you are going on a long trip you need to have a great playlist, and 2) I'm lazy and didn't want to do a separate music site, but wanted to list my music playlist somewhere.

 

Most of the music in the playlist is some sort of Rock N'Roll (alternative, indie, grunge, punk and hard rock), but there is also some Pop, EDM, New Wave, etc.

 

First I'm gonna start with the 2 bands that I consider the Gods of Rock, Pearl Jam and Led Zepplin. As one of my friends says, "The best there is, the best there was and the best there will ever be", but he is referring to another band. For me, it's these 2 bands.

• Led Zeppelin (That's the Way, Misty Mountain Hop, Over the Hills and Far Away, Good Times Bad Times, Wanton Song, The Ocean)

There is so, so much more access to music these days. Back when I first started listening to music the only music I had access to was what I heard on the radio, the albums I bought and whatever info you got from friends. Now with the internet and apps, you can listen to everything. I usually listen to free music on my Slacker app. I mostly listen to the Indie and Alternative stations on Slacker. Then on my paid Rhapsody service, I download lots and lots of CDs to listen to (I guess they really aren't CDs, but whatever). Then, based on all that music listening, I will purchase individual songs or CDs to own, and I mostly use Amazon to purchase music.
